Lifestyle

Ketchikan is more than just a place to work—it’s a way of life. Nestled in the heart of Alaska’s Southeast marine frontier, and a direct 1.5 hour flight from Seattle, our community thrives on the water. Whether it’s fishing, boating, or simply being surrounded by stunning coastal views, Ketchikan offers a tight-knit, welcoming environment where the ocean is an essential part of daily life.
Our home is a unique and vibrant coastal town, offering a lifestyle unlike any other. Known as the "Salmon Capital of the World," you’ll enjoy some of the freshest seafood in the world, breathtaking scenery, and a warm, welcoming community. Life here moves with the rhythm of the tides, and outdoor adventures are always within reach. From kayaking and hiking to wildlife watching and exploring the nearby Tongass National Forest, there is never a shortage of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. Plus, with mild winter temperatures compared to much of Alaska, you won’t have to endure the extreme cold of the interior!
